All In A Day's Work

Sundays. When I don't have to toil for "The Man", they are very good days indeed.

For instance, today I fed my 'Pod. It was mewling about the limited selection of audio I'd previously bestowed upon it and cried out, "Wha-a-a! Feed me, you stingy beastie!"

And so it came to pass that I threw some of everything at it, doubling the number of choice audio bits it already had in its 4-gig belly. On the menu: John Cale, Moby, Fat Boy Slim, Filter, Everlast, 311, Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Sergio Mendes, and Ya Lo Tengo.

Sundays are also good for going completely snap-happy. Which I did during a random walk south of Chicago's downtown. See what I see.

Oh, cute baby puppy!

Over the railroad tracks

Poppies, poppies?

What's up, tiger lily?
