In Need Of A Pick-Me-Up

I need to get my lens of life readjusted.

All I see is the guy picking his nose, digging in his ear, with his fly wide open. All I see is the dirty, bearded guy moving in slow motion who couldn't decide if he should stand up or sit down. When he did sit (perch, really) he fell out of the seat with a thud toward the front door.

Beauty and hope. That's what I need.

If you can get your spine readjusted and your glasses readjusted, why not your outlook? I'm open to suggestions here.

Well, I don't know if this is of any use, but on my bus ride to the train station I've begun counting all the people using their cell phones. Either dialing or actively talking. From Randolph to Union Station I counted 55 people. (the stop at Randolph gave me the idea and was where the game began, there were 4 people at that bus stop alone on the phone.) At the very least if folks are mucking about with their cell phones they'll be too busy to pick their nose and the dirty people generally don't bother with cell phones. You'll be actively looking for those business professionals/teenage hoodlums. I don't play the game on the way from the train station to the office because there are far fewer people on the streets (I only count the people out the window, folks ON the bus don't count.)
