In Denial No More!

I've decided it's time to come clean. I am an addict. My vice? Yarn!

I catch myself thinking about it constantly - the hunt for it, the breathless anticipation as I check my mailbox everyday for yet another shipment of fiber, color, and texture goodness.

Then there are the racing thoughts: Who has the most interesting yarn fabrications and color combinations? Ooh! Silk, cashmere, and mohair. I wonder how that feels; I want to touch it. Wow, is that on SALE?? What would I make? Just buy it. You'll think of something.

I have spent over $300 this week alone. I've even got my friends acting as enablers in my addiction by begging them to ask me to make something. I cannot put the hook and needles away, though I realize it'll never be like the high I felt the first time I finished my first wearable garments. Mittens, I think. So long ago now...

Help me.

I'm giving in to the urge. There's a special place on blogspot for the likes of me: http://yarnismymetier.blogspot.com/

I live in Texas, today it's 75 and sunny, in spite of being mid-February... Please, DON'T make me anything!!!!

Does that help??

Well, Sister M, I could do you up a little something in cotton. Who says all yarn is wooly! Besides, I've got some wonderful blue textury stuff on the way that would be suitably sexy over a cami or tank.
