Those Damned Dollies
Some of my friends know that, for the most part, those collectible porcelain dolls really creep my out. Those unblinking eyes and their strange, haughty perfection. So unnerving.
Well now, I've found a doll I can relate to. That is approachable and amusing in a strange and off-putting way: they're called Damned Dollies!
These little treasures are the creation of Montreal artist Dana De Kuyper and have become the talk of certain sectors of the blogosphere. These are tough, no-nonsense femmes, so watch out. For instance, there's no doubt that Florence here can kick yer ass!
All I know is I want one. Howsabout you?

This had me laughing out loud....kinda spooked the cats. I sooooo want one of those dolls. My birthday is real soon (7/16) and I'll pay you in yarn or a cat....or would you prfer a picture colored by me? That damn doll is one of the funniest things I've seen in weeks. I really want one for my desk....perfect for work!
