Tools of the trade
My recent work has been described as a gestural type of abstract expressionism. Splats and drips pepper the canvas as do swirls and daubs of color. I use acrylics because my pieces tend to be multi-layered and this medium dries quickly enough to satisfy my impatience, as well as my love of visually interesting texture.
