What's That You Say?
My virtual pals over at the Media Matters have come up with a list of what they believe to be the most outrageous statements of 2005.While there are some particularly egregious examples of foot (or hoof) in mouth disease, for my money, nothing tops the Bush / Cheney Administration's assertion that warrantless wiretaps and electronic spying on US citizens are clearly within the Emperor's perview. The slap in the face here is that we pay for this crap. "Thank you sir. May I please have another?"
